Activate an offline computer

Offline activation

Keep FloatInk offline. Use this connected device to get its licence file.

  1. On the offline computer, open Activation → Offline activation and save its request file.
  2. Bring that file here and enter the activation key from your purchase email.
  3. Download the licence, bring it back to the original computer and import it in FloatInk.

Issuing a licence uses one device slot, just like online activation. Repeating the same request does not use another slot. After deactivation, export a new request. Older request formats require an app update.

Receive your key

After payment is confirmed, retrieve your key on the order page or in your purchase email. Keep that email for later.

Activate in the app

Open Settings → About → Enter activation key. A successful activation removes the watermark without reinstalling.

Use a second device

Use the same key on a second Windows device you personally use. Before moving to a new device, open Manage licence on the old device and deactivate it. If the old device is unavailable, contact support from your purchase email and include the order reference, never your activation key.
