CELERWARE

Privacy policy

Updated September 10, 2026

Celerware is an independent developer’s software brand. This notice describes data handling on the current website. FloatInk currently offers simulated test checkout. Live sales and public downloads are not open. Test orders, email and licensing data are handled as described below.

Visiting the website

Loading pages, images and other resources sends your IP address, request time, requested address and browser information to the server. Requests may also include a referring page. The website is hosted on a RackNerd server. This information is used to deliver pages, investigate errors and maintain security. Do not put activation keys or other sensitive information in URL parameters.

Log retention

The server is currently configured to rotate Nginx logs daily and retain 14 rotated files plus the current log. This is not a strict promise to delete records after 14 days: logs with no new entries may not rotate. This notice does not state an unverified retention period for the hosting provider’s own infrastructure logs.

Browser storage

A localStorage entry named celerware-theme remembers your light or dark appearance preference until you change it or clear site data. The current website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and has no advertising trackers, third-party visitor analytics or session replay.

Contacting support

When you email support@celerware.com, your email address, message and any attachments you choose to include are handled by NetEase email services and used by the developer to respond. Include only relevant system versions, app versions and error descriptions. Do not send passwords, full payment card details, activation keys or unredacted private screen content.

Purposes and legal bases

Access logs support website delivery, troubleshooting and security. Support emails are used to respond to requests and fulfil purchase-related obligations. Where laws such as the GDPR apply, the relevant bases are necessary legitimate interests, steps to enter or perform a contract, and applicable legal obligations. Optional processing requiring consent will seek it separately; browsing is not treated as consent. This website does not sell personal data, build advertising profiles or make automated decisions with significant effects.

Email retention and providers

From publication of this policy, the routine retention target for resolved support emails is 12 months after closure, followed by scheduled manual deletion. Unresolved disputes and legally required records are exceptions. RackNerd hosts the website and NetEase provides email services, processing the data necessary for those services. Processing may occur outside your country or region; any safeguards required by applicable law must be in place before the relevant processing starts. Not all provider infrastructure and backup retention periods have been confirmed; contact support for details.

Payments and app activation

Creem Test Mode processes simulated checkout without real charges. Do not enter real payment card details. Creem processes the test checkout information you submit; we receive order identifiers, email, product, amount and payment/refund status to deliver and recover test licences. Automated licence email is sent through NetEase enterprise mail. There is no registration or file-upload feature. Live sales remain closed.

Purchase sessions and test-data retention

Starting test checkout creates an essential HttpOnly purchase-session cookie (cw_purchase), lasting up to 24 hours, that lets the current browser check its order and retrieve its activation key. It is not used for advertising. An order reference alone cannot retrieve a licence. Delivery and recovery use the test checkout email. Order and delivery records are currently managed manually without an automatic deletion deadline; contact support to request deletion. Unfinished sessions become inaccessible after 24 hours and are cleaned on later checkout requests after another seven days.

Planned licensing data

The test licensing service processes purchase sources, licensee details, activation credentials, installation identifiers, signed licences and activation records to deliver entitlements, enforce device allowances, provide support and prevent abuse. Hashing an installation identifier does not make it fully anonymous. Activation will not require uploading screen content. Test order, licence and delivery records are currently managed manually; contact support to request deletion. Retention procedures will be further defined before live sales.

Your rights

Where applicable law provides, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portable data. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing and complain to a competent data-protection authority. Email support to exercise these rights; only proportionate identity checks will be requested. Requests will be handled within statutory deadlines. Transaction or dispute records subject to lawful retention may not qualify for immediate deletion. Without necessary order or activation information, delivery or recovery of a licence may not be possible.

Privacy requests and changes

For questions about data handling or requests for access, correction or deletion, contact support@celerware.com. Requests will be handled based on identifiable records, necessary identity checks and applicable requirements. This notice will be updated as functionality changes. App data-handling details will be updated for the final build before public release.
