FloatInk software licence agreement

Launch licence: a 30-day trial, a one-time purchase for the current major version, up to 2 devices for one user, and commercial use included. The public release is still being prepared. This agreement will be provided in its download, installation and purchase flows.
Parties and trial
The individual developer publishing FloatInk under the Celerware brand grants this licence to the user. The trial lasts 30 days from first launch, requires no payment card and does not automatically charge you. Continuing to use paid features after the trial requires a valid licence.
Permitted use
A purchase grants a non-exclusive, per-user licence for up to 2 Windows devices personally used by the same user, including personal and work computers. Teaching, presentations and commercial work are permitted. Different users need separate licences; an activation key may not be shared among users.
Perpetual use and updates
The purchase covers the current major version expressly identified at checkout. For example, a 1.x licence permits perpetual use of that version series and includes subsequent 1.x updates. Future major versions such as 2.x may be optional paid upgrades. Declining an upgrade does not remove access to your licensed versions. Perpetual use is not a promise of lifetime updates, indefinite support or compatibility with every future operating system.
Device changes and activation
Release the old device’s activation before switching devices. If the old device is inaccessible, contact support for help. Activation requires a valid credential and necessary product and installation identifiers, as explained in the privacy policy. Resale or transfer to another user requires permission, except where applicable law grants a transfer right.
Your content and restrictions
You retain rights to content you create and are responsible for permissions needed to annotate, capture, present or share third-party content. Do not infringe privacy or other rights, publicly distribute activation credentials or bypass licensing restrictions. These restrictions do not override rights expressly granted by applicable law or the open-source licences distributed with the software.
Refunds and termination
Activation or prior trial use does not disqualify a purchase from the 14-day refund policy. On approval of a refund, the corresponding paid licence ends; stop using it and remove the corresponding licence files. A material breach may lead to termination. Except for fraud or security incidents requiring immediate action, the developer will explain the issue through available contact details and allow 14 days to remedy it. You may request a review through support.
Limits of offline revocation
Revoking a perpetual offline licence does not remotely delete files on an old device or guarantee immediate blocking of offline execution. The obligation to stop using a refunded or terminated licence still applies. A device allowance does not give the developer remote control of your device.
Third-party components, warranties and support
Third-party components follow their accompanying licences; this agreement does not reduce rights those licences grant. Keep copies of important work; the software is not promised to be error-free. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support@celerware.com for help.
